Sheppey Community Media Centre, Sheerness
The building dates back to the 1920s and after a period of neglect the SCMC was established in 2012 and its facilities now include a local tourism, cultural, events and activities information desk, a fully equipped media training suite and the Sheppey FM community internet radio station. Sheerness: children?s paddling pool
A bit of an obvious statement, since I don't suppose they make paddling pools for adults. Anyway, this brightly coloured pool is in a small play area just behind the concrete esplanade wall.

Lifeguard station, Sheerness
The main building is up some steps on the right, while the small white structure on the promenade in the foreground is a first aid point. Somewhat surprisingly, there was no lifeguard on duty at around 1830 in August.
