One of the newly constructed Hyde Housing buildings, part of the new development on Doust Way. This has 8 affordable rent apartments.
Named after a ship that was built in Chatham Dockyard.

Development land by the Medway
This strip of land between Rochester station and the river appears to have been cleared quite recently of whatever buildings were there before. I expect that an 'exclusive' housing development will follow.

Tarmacking the new road in Rochester Riverside (2)
A road (and accompanying drainage) has been extended into Rochester Riverside from Doust Way, near Rochester High Street. This is the first phase of the large development on land in Rochester.
This road will be followed by the building of 73 new rental and
shared ownership flats (eitherside of the road) and one commercial unit, constructed by Denne Construction for Hyde Housing.

Javelin train at Rochester
Unit 395010 calls at Rochester station with the 09.58 Faversham to London St Pancras "Javelin" service. This service, started in December 2009, would pick up the high-speed line into London at Ebbsfleet near Gravesend.

Rochester railway station (site), Kent
Opened by the London Chatham and Dover Railway on the line from London Victoria to Faversham, this station closed in 2015 when it was replaced by a new station some 500m north west, behind the camera position
View south east towards Chatham and Faversham. At one time, Rochester and Strood had five railway stations between them on two competing lines.
