Former Salford Gasworks Gasometers
Seen here from West Egerton Street, the gasholders of the former Liverpool Street Gasworks made famous in Ewan McColl's "Dirty Old Town" ("I found my love by the gasworks croft/Dreamed a dream by the old canal…" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baFIaOGkN90 ) appear to be all that remains of Salford Gas Works.
