Weavers' cottages, Tib Street, Manchester
Berwick Electricals, on Manchester's Tib Street in the Northern Quarter, is housed in what was once weavers' cottages. Weaving used to be a home industry, and houses would have living space below and the top floor devoted to looms. Characteristic of such houses is a long row of windows just below the roof to let in maximum light.

Hyuro ? "War Impact on Children's Lives" on Brightwell Walk
This mural was created for the Cities of Hope Festival in 2016 https://inspiringcity.com/2016/06/12/cities-of-hope-brings-some-of-the-worlds-top-street-artists-to-manchester/ Argentina's Hyuro focus was about the impact of war on children in conflict zones. She explains the piece in her instagram feed https://www.instagram.com/p/BGVKst9hJCE/?taken-by=h_y_u_r_o&hl=en saying "Both armed conflict and violence that trigger affects the lives of many children in different parts of the world. In addition to the direct consequences of war and armed violence they are also indirectly affected by displacement, loss of family and trauma caused by the acts of violence they witness. This wall is intended to give voice to all the lost innocence, all children who are fighting for their own survival, unable, in front of the eyes of all, to live a childhood as they deserve."

125-127 Oldham Street, Manchester
The ground floor is occupied by Skylord Travel. The upper floors have been converted into apartments. Whether the decorative friezes reflect the history of the building I'm unable to say.
