Another Dead Pub
Several pubs on Stockport Road, Denton have closed in recent years. The latest is the Gardeners Arms Image, a former Robinsons' pub. Its car park was sold some time ago and now has a branch of Subway Image on it. The strange looking signpost on the left is known as the Crown Pole Image

Gardeners Arms
In 2011 the Gardeners Arms was a thriving Robinsons pub Image
In 2012 it was starting to look run-down Image as building work started next door. In December a Subway shop had opened there Image
It closed in 2015 and by 2016 Robinsons had removed their signage Image
Now it seems to have re-opened as a freehouse.
