Several pubs on Stockport Road, Denton have closed in recent years. The latest is the Gardeners Arms Image, a former Robinsons' pub. Its car park was sold some time ago and now has a branch of Subway Image on it. The strange looking signpost on the left is known as the Crown Pole Image Image
