Brazennose Street Christmas Market
The final day of Manchester's 2011 Christmas Market in Brazennose Street.
The Christmas markets first arrived in Manchester in 1998, when the council of Frankfurt hosted a small traditional German market of just 17 stalls in St Ann’s Square.
Now an annual event, the 2011 Christmas Market has an array of over 200 stalls spread across Albert Square, Brazennose Street, King Street, St Ann's Square, New Cathedral Street, Exchange Square and Piccadilly operating from 17th November to 21st December.

Manchester Peace Gardens
The Peace Gardens, formerly situated in St Peter's Square, have been re-located to Lincoln Square. This section (read the plaques: Image) remember the Holocaust Memorial Day, those who have lost their lives to landmines, Workers' Memorial Day and African victims of slavery.
