Taken from a surprisingly overgrown stretch of riverside path between Prince's Bridge and Albert Bridge, which includes much giant hogweed.

Bridging the River Irwell
View of the River Irwell from the footbridge at Spinningfields. The Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1386141 Irwell Street Bridge was built in 1880. It was designed by James Gascoigne Lynde. Beyond it is the new Ordsall Chord.

Irwell Street Bridge, Salford
Built c1880 according to the listing. Single-arched trusses with "lattice-work cross bracing with rosette decoration over the rivets." Rosettes also adorn the beams below. All very colourful. Grade II listed.

Irwell Street Bridge
The Grade II listed https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1386141 bridge over the river Irwell was built in 1880. At each end are low relief panels bearing the arms of the cities of Salford and Manchester. It was designed by James Gascoigne Lynde.
