Plus towering new buildings alongside the river to the east. The bridge dates from about 1880 http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-471565-irwell-street-bridge-that-part-in-salfor . Taken from a surprisingly overgrown stretch of riverside path between Prince's Bridge and Albert Bridge, which includes much giant hogweed.
