The Fabric of Manchester
Standing 2.8 metres tall and constructed of Stainless Steel, the Fabric of Manchester sculpture was created by figurative sculptor Clare Bigger. was Commissioned by Bruntwood in 2005 and stands outside Albertson House on St Mary's Parsonage. This sculpture "conveys the concept that Bruntwood is part of the fabric of Manchester, weaving links with society and the environment" (http://www.clarebigger.com/sculptures/sculpture31.asp - Clare Bigger web site).

Albert Bridge House, Bridge Street, Manchester (2)
"One of the first and best big post-war buildings in the city", was Pevsner's verdict. Built in 1958-59 as tax offices to the designs of E.H. Banks of the Ministry of Works. Eighteen storeys clad in Portland stone. On the right is one of the three much smaller blocks in the complex. See also Image
