View SE, towards Stockport and Godley Junction; see also Image and Image The locomotive is LMS Ivatt 4MT 2-6-0 No. 43048 (built 12/49, withdrawn 5/67). The large factory beyond is/was Metropolitan-Vickers', making electrical sub-stations.
