View westward, towards Glazebrook and Warrington: ex-CLC main line to Stockport, Godley Junction etc., a trunk west - east line south of Manchester. The locomotive is Stanier 5MT 4-6-0 No. 45059 (built 1934, withdrawn 7/67).
