A Walk in Didsbury Village (71) Didsbury Park Cupressus Trees
Didsbury Park Public parks often remind me of the film "Blow Up", especially when they are more or less deserted. Those who know the film will follow my train of thought. The director of Blow Up, Michelangelo Antonioni stated that the film "is not about man's relationship with man, it is about man's relationship with reality".

Didsbury Park It looks as if the gated area is intended to be dog free. See previous comment. There are some large cupressus trees in the park.

Didsbury Park I expect this gate is unlocked at certain hours. Specimen trees may have been planted in this area or it may be reserved for some other purpose.

A Walk in Didsbury Village (72) Didsbury Park Under the Beech Trees
Didsbury Park Under the beech trees. The fallen leaves under the beech trees create a carpet. It is hard not to think of Autumn, though it is July.

A Walk in Didsbury Village (69) Didsbury Park Cupressus Trees
Didsbury Park The trunks of the cupressus trees are imposing. The trees cast a heavy shade which is probably very welcome on hot days.
