Whitworth Street West
The former A57 (now B6469) runs parallel to the railway viaduct between Oxford Road and Deansgate. Through the arches Jack Rosenthal Street leads into the "First Street" development and the HOME arts complex.

Hungry geese
Several Canada Geese (or is it Gooses) were bold enough to paddle up to the bank of the canal to see if I had any food for them. They didn't hang about for long once they found out.

Percy Brothers Ltd, The Hotspur Press, Chorlton-on-Medlock
Seen from by Chorlton New Mill. This view is now obscured by recent construction and The Hotspur Press building looks disused on Streetview. It was originally a cotton warehouse named Medlock Mill and is to be redeveloped while retaining its historic character.
