A burger stall seems to be doing good business here mid morning. There was also Greek street food, Caribbean food, Ghanaian food and others.

This is for visitors to Tiddenfoot Wildlife Park, the road is not passable beyond this point.

Early morning and the crowds are still gathering and getting into the swing of it. A drink always helps.

A wide range of food and drink stalls are interspersed really well with small fairground rides and retail stalls selling a wide range of consumer goods.

As crowds enter the festival from the car parks they were greeted by a small array of aged tractors like these, a Massey Ferguson and a Fordson I think... The guys seated behind them and keeping a watchful eye on them seem to have their day totally sussed; comfy chair, brew, gazebo for shade and are able to converse with each other safe from too many inquisitive members of the public...great work.

Flavours of Ghana. A queue forms for a wonderful range of flavours of Ghana and the aromas are amazing! The options are wide and the prices are very reasonable.

Two bars serving a range of intoxicating liquors to the paying public, one called the Jockey Bar and the other called Hope and Glory. I saw no actual jockeys imbibing here today but in the interest of public health and to ensure full compliance with all relevant weights and measures legislation I purchased a sample of their beer and a large glass of Pimms (for my good lady wife) and I can confirm that they were indeed mildly intoxicating and helped me gaze about at the assembled multitude with generally enhanced bonhomie, good spirits and a deep feeling of brotherly, and indeed, sisterly love for my fellow person. After my pint of Doombar I was even seen to clap along to folk music tunes, cheer each song and even loudly whistle my approval if I felt sufficiently moved to do so. At one point I found myself dancing with my baby grand-daughter and very gently inducting her into the ways of extracting the most from a day off in the summer in Britain.

Musicians perform a folk tune with verve, gusto and not inconsiderable talent. Great to enjoy.

The great British public sitting down to enjoy some well earned food and drink whilst listening to some musicians perform on the main stage. The sun is out, the sky is mainly blue and it is a weekend in the school holidays and it is great to be at a community and family orientated event that is so well organised.
