138.9 pence per litre was the price that BP were charging for diesel here on this day. Despite their protestations to the contrary motorway fuel station operators continue to charge their captive customers a massive mark-up on the price that you could pay off the motorway. On this day you could have paid 128.9 pence per litre for diesel at several fuel filling stations within 20 miles of here.
