Developing Leeds
Anyone that has visited Leeds in the last year or two will tell you the most noticeable feature is the number of tower cranes. The character of Leeds is being transformed before our very eyes. The area containing the 4 cranes in the foreground is shown as STEANDER on the OS map and is photographed from the SE.

Entrance to the Gateway car park
An underground car park on the east side of the A61 approaching central Leeds from the south. On the map, this entrance lies on a direct line between the Armouries museum and Quarry House, therefore if you look at E Gammie's 1997 view Image you will see how this site looked about 20 years earlier.
