Unexpected potted shrubs on Knowsthorpe Way
Part of the route onto the Everbuild / Hesco site. Everbuild Building Products Ltd manufactures sealants, adhesives, fillers and building chemicals. HESCO Bastion Ltd manufactures gabions and similar units for military and flood protection, and erosion control. This wall and ramp are made of their gabions.

Fire at EMR, Cross Gates
Viewed from New Farnley, 8km away, I did not know the cause of this large plume of smoke until I read in the local press the next day of a major fire at the EMR (European Metal recycling) plant.
