Carlton Garth
One of Leeds' many tower blocks, named with a restricted set of suffixes, of which 'Garth' is one. A 'garth' is historically a courtyard between buildings, not the building itself, so it is an odd choice of naming convention.

The Tennant Hall, Blenheim Grove
The building, associated with All Souls church behind it, was erected c.1885 as a Sunday school and hall ("the parochial building, which occupies the east side, was built by Thomas Tennant, in memory of his brother and sister")(1). According to Wikipedia it was used from 1968 to 1974 by the BBC as a studio for the Look North programme. It is now occupied by a housing association. Listed grade II (list entry 1255892). Beyond it is All Souls House. (1) http://www.leedsindexers.co.uk/Churches/026-050/030_20All_20Souls_20Woodhouse.html
