Stone wall along Woodhouse Ridge
The wall marks the top of Batty's Wood (a public space) and the boundary of James Baillie Park (student village) on the other side. The sandstone is heavily weathered in places.

Ramsons and bluebells in Batty's Wood
Both these plants are typical of English woodlands in May, and lovely when seen together in such profusion. The powerful scent of the ramsons (garlic) does dominate the more delicate aroma of bluebells.
