New apartment building close to Headingley station
Very convenient for the station, but probably expensive because of that (other flats in this area are currently advertised for rent at around £600 pcm for 1 bedroom).

Azuma through Headingley
Since the introduction of 'bi-mode' (electric/diesel) Azuma trains, it has been easier for LNER to run London-Leeds trains through to Harrogate, after reversal in Leeds station. It also frees up valuable platform space at Leeds. There are now several through trains per day, but the first one of the day northbound isn't due through Headingley until about 10.00am, so this photo taken at 08.56 is probably an empty working heading to Harrogate to form the 09.36 southbound departure.
