A minor side street off New Briggate. The building on the left, according to datestones set into the wall, was erected in 1934. It has over the years been a nursery, snooker club Image and since 2013 the Belgrave Music Hall.

Datestone, Merrion Place, Leeds(1)
One of two datestones set into the wall of what was originally Leeds Children’s Palace, erected in 1934 as "a 3-storey recreation hall and nursery school to provide childcare support for the working families of Leeds".
