Thoresby House, Great George Street, Leeds
Built in 1900 originally as a Pupil Teacher College for the Leeds School Board, in 1937 it became the Thoresby High School now used by the Leeds City Council.

Thoresby Building
Built in 1900 as a pupil teachers' college, it later became Thoresby High School for Girls. In recent years it has served as an offices extension to Leonardo House. Designed by Walter Samuel for the Leeds School Board, Listed Grade II.

Former Leeds Higher Grade School, Woodhouse Lane, Leeds
By Birchall & Kelly, 1889, with attic added by the Leeds School Board's architect, William Landless, c1890. The top does look as if the architects didn't know how to finish and wanted to keep adding bits on stop. Still, quite an impressive effort in red brick and stone with giant Ionic pilasters. Grade II listed.
In 1994-95 it was converted into council offices by the Leeds Design Consultancy.
