Butler Way, off Town Street, Stanningley
The modern road serving various industrial units is named after father and son Joseph and John Butler who ran the Stanningley Iron Works on this site from 1838. The business continued until 1896 after John's death (source: http://pippahale.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/Some-Stanningley-Industries-by-Anthony-Silson-Feb18.pdf ).
