Morley (Low) railway station, Yorkshire, 2013
Opened in 1848 on the London & North Western Railway's line from Leeds to Huddersfield. The suffix 'Low' was applied from 1951 to 1971 to differentiate it from "Morley Top" station on the Great Northern Railway's network nearby - see Image View south west towards Batley and Huddersfield. This station is due to be replaced in 2023 by new platforms behind the camera position, on a new alignment that will allow increased line speed.
