The farmhouse (right) is grade II listed (list entry 1237508) but even Historic England appear unsure of its date: 'Perhaps C17 wing to earlier building, restored in C19, or perhaps C19 cottage in C17 style'.

The Chequers Inn, Ledsham
The Chequers is a traditional English Inn that can trace its history back to the 16th century. As far as I am aware it does not open on Sunday since the Lady of the Manor, some 170 years ago, deemed it should not do so because of the drunken behaviour of the family employees.
