Peckfield crossing
The crossing is on a bridleway, so just for pedestrians, cyclists - and horse riders, who are catered for by these mounting steps either side of the crossing to help them get off and walk the horse across. Unusually these days, the gate does not lock when a train approaches and there isn't even a warning light.

The roundabout would once have given access to the colliery
Image but now serves little purpose as it only has two vehicle exits.
