Garforth St Mary: altars
There are two altars (communion tables), a modern one at the front of the nave and the high altar in the sanctuary. The Christmas tree and crib are still in place in late January, following a tradition in some Christian circles that the Christmas
season lasts for forty days rather than twelve.

Garforth St Mary: east window
The window has three narrow lancets, the middle one including an image of St Mary with the infant Jesus. The wording at the bottom is "These three windows the work and gift of Mary Isabella and Elizabeth Oliver Gascoigne Anno Domini MDCCCXLV" (1845, contemporary with the building of the church). The Gascoignes of Parlington Hall ('Oliver' being added when Richard Oliver of County Limerick married into the family after the male line of descent perished) were the landowners of Garforth, and the sisters endowed the rebuilt church.
