Angler's tent and pony.
The fishing lakes (disused gravel pits) at Knotford Nook are owned by angling associations from nearby Leeds and Bradford. They are also popular with ornithologists for the visiting wildfowl.

Old Milestone, Old Pool Road, Otley
On the Northen verge of the loop of road left after the road was widened and made less tortuous. The stone and cast iron skim are more recent than the original turnpike administered by the Tadcaster and Otley Turnpike Trust.

Old milestone
The lake beyond the rickety gate on this piece of old road is part of the sewage works complex. In 1893 the WRCC contract with Gill and Frank Stead of Mirfield to erect 615 milestones all over the old West Riding was set up. On this route between Tadcaster and Otley 19 were specified. There is the shared one in Harewood with the Leeds to Harrogate road and only Tadcaster 19 Otley ¼ cannot be found. The most complete set still in situ on any of the routes the WRCC wanted to promote.
