New Road Side, Horsforth, New Year's Day 2015
Looking from the corner of Sunnybank Road across New Road Side to the junction with Clarence Drive.
It is very rare to see no traffic on New Road Side, lunchtime on New Year's Day is very quiet.
The nearest shop, Clarkes Independence Centre sells (and rents) equipment for people with disabilities.

Clarence Drive
Looking north along Clarence Drive towards New Road Side, this is the back view of the former Glenroyal Cinema that housed Millhouse Pine, Tesco Express, Carringtons and Harriets when photographed in 2006. By 2021 Tesco Express remained, the other businesses were replaced by Pizza Express, Subway, Kids Club (Soft play and activity centre) and Hopscotch (children's shoes).

Tesco Express and Subway
On the corner of New Road Side and Clarence Drive, They appear to be modern additions in front of the former Glenroyal Cinema (open from 1937 to 1964). I'm unsure what the main building is used for now, although the ground floor might be part of the Tesco store.
