Shadwell Library and Hardback Cafe
The main building was opened in 1814 as a Wesleyan Methodist chapel. It was replaced in 1892 as a place of worship by the present church across the road Image It was then used as a Sunday School, from 1926 as a public library and now as a private independent library.
