The Headrow
The police incident van had arrived with much alarm, and I failed to see where the occupants went, so can only suppose they went into the hearing aid shop. Which seems odd. Perhaps some aggressive pensioner?

Rear of the procession
The rear of the May Day parade (being held a day early on 30 April), as it set off along the Headrow. The procession consisted mainly of representatives of various trade unions and left-wing political parties. It was not a large event in terms of numbers - I would estimate around 100 people.
