The Grange, Seacroft
The Grange is one of the oldest buildings in east Leeds. It was built in 1627 for the Tottie family, and was originally known as Tottie Hall. It changed hands in 1837 when it became Seacroft Grange. It was a primary school from 1941 to 1974, then an adult education centre. It looks derelict now, and seems to have lost its roofing. See 3 older pictures on the Leodis website - the first is from almost the same angle http://www.leodis.org/display.aspx?id=2004316_62983340 http://www.leodis.org/display.aspx?id=20021010_11175173 http://www.leodis.org/display.aspx?id=9642

Seacroft Grange
A grade II listed house of 1837 in an older Tudor style (according to Historic England's listing which implies a total rebuilding the 19th century), but another Geograph contributor dates it largely to 1627 and notes its later use as a primary school and adult education centre Image It was derelict when first photographed for this site in 2006 but now forms the heart of Seacroft Green Care Village, a luxury retirement home.
