Newcastle train passing Halton
A Transpennine Express class 185 unit forms the 16.25 Liverpool to Newcastle service, heading east from Leeds at 18.01. These units that have been operating the service for about 20 years are due to be replaced with new "Nova 3" locomotive-hauled trains in 2019.
