Buses in turning circle, Whinmoor centre
First Leeds 37715, a Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini, lays over in the turning circle at Whinmoor shopping centre before working a trip on long cross city route 16 to Pudsey via Seacroft, Leeds city centre, and Farsley. Behind is similar (but slightly older) 37658, on route 56 to Moor Grange via Cross Gates and Leeds city centre and fitted with guidewheels so it can use the guided busway along York Road. This large turning circle is unusual in being at right angles to the road from which it is accessed (Naburn Approach); this does at least mean buses can enter and leave regardless of direction.
