Leeds Metropolitan University
The left part of the building is the Students Union, with the taller Leslie Silver Building to its right, and part of "H Building" at the extreme right. The taller buildings behind are the "C" and "D" Buildings.
Taken from Woodhouse Lane multi-storey car park, with Woodhouse Lane in the foreground, and The Drydock - a pub which partly consists of an old barge that was placed there about 15 years ago, well away from the river.

City bluebells
It has been a good year for bluebells, but they are more often seen in woods than alongside a busy main road (Woodhouse Lane, outside Leeds Beckett University).

Leeds Metropolitan University, Portland Way, Leeds
The tower on the left ('D Building') was one of three built in 1966-69 by Yorke, Rosenberg & Mardall (the other two being stripped down at the time of the photo as a precursor to a comprehensive refurbishment as student accommodation). A typically strong grid, clad in pre-cast aggregate, and green spandrels. On the left is an earlier block ('C Building'), dating from 1958 but re-clad in blue glass in 2000 by Bowman Riley Partnership.
