Luxury commuting in Leeds
The majority of commuter services into Leeds on the Calderdale line in a morning are 30-year-old Sprinter diesel units. But from 12 July 2016, Northern Rail had hired this five-car class 180 unit from Grand Central, that would otherwise be laying over at Bradford Interchange, for a single extra working at 07.44. It was being promoted for extra capacity, comfort and free wifi at no extra charge. Seen here approaching Boggard Lane bridge in Bramley.
