Bramley Park: memorial benches (1 & 2)
An addition to the park in 2018 was a set of three metal benches facing the war memorial Image, with appropriate designs in the metalwork. These are - (left) one with the figures of WW1 soldiers and poppies, given by "The Friends of a War Memorial for Bramley", dedicated to "the fallen of our local communities" and in memory of Brian Crowther, Marion North and Ted Hanley; (right) one with figures of white doves, given by the Masonic Charitable Foundation and dedicated to "the brave people of Bramley, Rodley and Stanningley". These are presumably standard designs, as an identical bench to the one on the left can be seen in Saltcoats, Scotland for one Image
