Green space above Broadlea Road
The 1968 map shows houses here, but now it is part of a green space stretching down to Broadlea Street. A pair of benches is provided on a side path, offering a view across the valley to Hawksworth.

Localised widening of Broadlea Road
I have seen this feature elsewhere on housing estates in Leeds, and they are a bit of a puzzle. Not long enough for a proper passing place, not wide enough to be a turning circle. Any ideas? In this instance it coincides with where a footpath crosses the road.
