Ancient right of way off Eightlands Lane
This footpath cuts across two modern streets at an odd angle, suggesting earlier origins, and indeed the 1852 6-inch map shows it as part of an ancient track from Bramley village to the large farm at Hill Top. Local people still use it as a short cut to and from the local shops or bus stop.

Vacant industrial unit on Aston Mount
The premises at 1 Aston Mount were advertised as for sale in 2014 and still seemed to be unoccupied in August 2015. A description on the estate agents website includes "The property comprises a detached brick-built industrial building under a pitched and insulated roof. An extensive mezzanine floor provides additional accommodation and is accessed via 2 internal staircases."

An unseasonal sprinkling of snow
The higher parts of West Yorkshire got a few inches of snow on 29 April 2016, unusual so late in the spring. Lower lying areas around Leeds, as seen here in Bramley, only caught a sprinkling.
