Raynville Walk, Noon, Christmas Day 2019
A dry and distinctly not white Christmas Day this year. The only sign of the season is the man in a Christmas jumper outside the convenience store, which was open. The two sections of road in this view - Raynville Walk and Aston Avenue higher up the hill - are in alignment but you cannot get directly from one to the other, you have to go the long way round via Snowden Crescent.

Raynville Walk, side road
Raynville Walk has several side branches, all of them included in the numbering of the street as a whole. This one serves nos. 7 to 39 (odd numbers).

Snow play on Raynville Approach
The first decent snowfall of this winter was not until the second week of March, and children naturally took the opportunity to build snow figures and otherwise enjoy the occasion. About half the 7cm or so that fell overnight had already gone by lunchtime.

Raynville Walk garages
Raynville Walk has several side branches, including this one which just leads to some lock-up garages. AS they are built into the terracing of the estate, they would not seem to at risk of redevelopment.

Postbox on Raynville Approach
This has been my local postbox for six years but I never thought to photograph it until it stood out against the white snow. Oddly (and sometimes inconveniently) the only collection of the day is quite early at 9am.
