Entrance to Bramley Fall Woods
A popular recreational area on the site of former stone quarries, apparently owned by the city council. This path heads down to Forge Locks on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.

Ramsons in Bramley Fall Woods
With near daily recreational walks as encouraged in the Covid-19 lockdown, I've been more aware of the sequence of different flowers this year. Bluebells and ramsons are often seen together in woodland, but the latter have only just come into flower (and scent!) this week while bluebells came out a couple of weeks earlier.

Detached houses on one of a few similarly named streets comprising a small housing development on the north side of Leeds and Bradford Road. It's slightly surprising that permission was given for this as there is no other housing on this side of the road for a considerable distance either way and it wasn't a brownfield site.
