Site of West Grove House, Bramley
Although entered from Calverley Lane, the address of this (probably 19th century) property was 600 Leeds and Bradford Road. It was still standing in 2016 Image but has been demolished quite recently. Planning application 23/03759/FU was for "Demolition of existing three storey detached dwelling and construction of four dwellings and associated access".

Junction of Leeds and Bradford Road and Calverley Lane
Calverley Lane (either side of the main road) is probably a more ancient route than the relatively straight and wide turnpike road. Note the EIIR postbox lurking in the shadows on the far corner.

New houses, "Hillside", Leeds and Bradford Road
These three houses, and several more behind them accessed off Calverley Lane, comprise the Hillside development, built in the last few years on what was classed as a 'brownfield site', as it previously included a larger building used as a reception centre for asylum seekers until c.2010.
