Probably late-Georgian, with an Ionic porch, but with later alterations (e.g. all the sash windows have gone) and strange bracketed eaves. Now offices, to let at the time of the photo.

Light no longer required
At the entrance to Image this building no longer needs natural light in the basement. Four of these windows, with moulded surrounds, have been skillfully bricked up with good quality bricks.

Aka Aintree House, and, in Pevsner's view, "the best of the functional warehouses in the area". By Stephen Smith, c1870, for G.R. Portway & Co., woollen manufacturers. The windows are set in arches encompassing three floors, with decorative panels between the windows. Grade II listed.
