Farnley & Wortley railway station (site), Yorkshire
Opened in 1848 on the London & North Western Railway's line from Leeds to Huddersfield, this station was resited to the left (hidden by the trees) when the "viaduct" line into Leeds opened in 1882, and the platforms on the original line were removed. The station closed in 1952 and the line to the left has been removed. View south west towards Cottingley and Huddersfield.
