East end of ASDA House
The office headquarters of the ASDA supermarket chain (now part of the WalMart group) was built in 1988 by architects John Brunton Partnership and is credited with starting the redevelopment of the industrial South Bank of the river Aire in Leeds. The site previously comprised a mixture of back-to-back houses, textile mills or warehouses, and a disused Quaker burial ground.
