Sir Joseph Banks' house
Superb Georgian building and clock, rather eclipsing the bank and butchers currently using it as shopfronts.
It is described by English Heritage as a mid 18th century house converted into shops in the 19th century (http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1272385 ). It was the Town House of Sir Joseph Banks, naturalist and explorer. The clock is later, dating from 1889.

Horncastle Summer Craft Market 2009.
The special summer market celebrates local crafts and food. It also includes local bands, dancers and singers in addition to funfair and miniature railway rides.
The High Street, Bull Ring, Bridge Street and the Market Place were closed for the duration of the event.
