Fossdyke Navigation from Hayes Wharf, Lincoln
Quite a pleasant scene, despite being dominated by modern student accommodation buildings. In this view, five sites are involved: On the left side of the Fossdyke is Cygnet Wharf (the tower block), Lincoln Courts (the detached brick buildings) and Pavilions (the long snaking blocks in the distance), and on the right is Hayes Wharf (in the extreme foreground) and Aqua House (The Brutalist-style building). Walking along the Fossdyke provides a gentle progression into the countryside, quite apparent in this picture.

Lincoln Courts, University of Lincoln
A set of quite sculptural student accommodation buildings, serving exclusively first years. These buildings were constructed ready for the first intake of students to the Brayford Campus in 1996, and complex has since been expanded to about three times the size in the following three years.
