Quite a pleasant scene, despite being dominated by modern student accommodation buildings. In this view, five sites are involved: On the left side of the Fossdyke is Cygnet Wharf (the tower block), Lincoln Courts (the detached brick buildings) and Pavilions (the long snaking blocks in the distance), and on the right is Hayes Wharf (in the extreme foreground) and Aqua House (The Brutalist-style building). Walking along the Fossdyke provides a gentle progression into the countryside, quite apparent in this picture. Taken from the top of the stairwell at Hayes Wharf.
