Beck House, 17 Vicarage Lane, Nettleham
16th century Grade II Listed house with minor 19th and 20th century alterations. This is regarded as the oldest residential property in the village. The thatch was removed about 1900, but over the centuries the house was occupied by many well known citizens of the village. It was attached to a farm, still having a barn and stables behind. It is reported around 1911 that 'Miss Mansford of Beck House in Vicarage Lane walked a plank to access her chickens on Mill Hill field from her field behind Beck House'.
